Qamishli International Airport ran 286 internal and external flights in June

Hasaka, SANA – Qamishli International Airport ran 286 internal and external flights during last month that carried more than 25000 passengers on board, marking an increase compared to the number of flights run in May.

Eng. Mohammad al-Karu, Director of the airport, which is located in Qamishli city in the northeastern Hasaka province, told SANA reporter on Thursday that the trips included 234 flights on Syrian Airlines and 52 flights on the private Sham Wings Airlines, noting that there were 4 flights to Beirut.

Al-Karu referred to a plan to expand the waiting rooms at Qamishli International Airport to provide better services to people.

In May, the Airport ran 260 internal and external flights with 22000 passengers. Those included 32 flights on Sham Wings Airlines.
