Damascus, SANA – The monthly shopping festival, organized by Damascus Chamber of Industry as part of “Live Syria 2015 campaign”, was opened on Tuesday evening at al-Jalaa Sports Hall in Mazzeh in Damascus with the participation of 75 companies.
Chairman of Damascus Chamber of Industry Samer al-Debs said the goods and commodities put up for sale cover all the needs of the Syrian typical family, calling upon citizens to benefit from the special offers and discounts.
He added that the festival, which has been held since the begining of 2015, has succeeded in contributing to reducing prices through the positive intervention in the market.
Al-Debs added that the Chamber will continue holding shopping festivals until the end of the current year.
Member of the Board of Directors at the Chamber Talal Qala’ji highlighted that the success of the five previous festivals is a result of the remarkable discounts and the high quality of the displayed products.
“Live Syria 2015″ is a nationwide initiative started by individuals, establishments and companies from the public and private sectors. It works through making offers and discounts on various services provided by these parties. The initiative continues throughout 2015.
