Provinces, SANA-Units of the army and armed forces on Saturday established control over more areas in Syria, killing large number of terrorists in different regions of the country.
Sweida
A military source announced that Skaka village and hill in Sweida countryside is a region “free from members of Takfiri terrorist organizations.”
The source told SANA that the army established control over Skaka village and hill in Sweida western countryside, 20 km to the administrative borders of Daraa.
It added the army killed a number of terrorists who were hiding in the region, destroying their weapons and equipment.
In Sweida eastern countryside, a unit of the army destroyed a convoy of vehicles for the Islamic state in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorist organization to the east of A’alaf center of al-Qasr village in Sweida north-eastern countryside.
Quneitra
Meanwhile, army units carried out concentrated operations against armed terrorist organizations in the southern region, with the Army Air Force destroying a number of terrorist organizations’ hideouts and killing scores of their members in Mas’hara and Jebata al-Khashab villages in the countryside of Quneitra province.
Earlier, in the northern countryside of Quneitra, an army unit targeted terrorists’ gatherings in Jabata al-Khashab, Trinja, al-Hamedyia and Saheita where many terrorists were killed, others injured and their vehicles, some of which equipped with machineguns, were destroyed.
Damascus Countryside
In the same context, army operations continued in the southwestern part of Damascus Countryside, with an army unit killing a number of terrorists and destroying their weapons in concentrated operations against their gatherings and hideouts in Magher al-Mir, Kafar Haur and Ain al-Bustan.
In the eastern al-Shouta, army units targeted terrorists’ hideouts in Douma and Ayn Terma, killing a number of them and destroying their weaponry and vehicles.
The army also killed and injured a number of terrorists in al-Nashabyeh and Deir al-Asafir in the southern side of the eastern al-Ghouta.
Daraa
In the southern Daraa province, units of army destroyed a vehicle and a mortar for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in the northern countryside .
A unit of army also struck terrorist organizations in the surroundings of Ataman town, 4 KM to the north of Daraa, killing a number of terrorists and destroying a car and ammunition.
Another army unit killed a number of terrorists and destroyed a mortar on Daraa- Tafas road in the northern countryside of the city.
Elsewhere, many terrorists were killed and others were injured in army air strikes on their dens in Kahil and Nasib areas in the countryside of the southern province.
Homs
In the central province of Homs, and specifically in its eastern countryside, an army unit foiled an infiltration attempt by a group of ISIS terrorists towards Jeb al-Jarrah town, located 70 km to the east of Homs, killing a number of them, injuring others and destroying their arms.
Groups of ISIS terrorists were targeted to the east of Jeb al-Jarrah, with a number of them getting killed and their vehicles destroyed, some of which were equipped with machine guns.
A number of ISIS terrorists were killed and their vehicles were destroyed in army air strikes in the surroundings of Jazal oil field and al-Shaer oil wells, al-Khashabiyeh, Palmyra, al-Bseiri and Tafha in the eastern countryside.
In the northern countryside of Homs province, an army unit killed a number of terrorists and destroyed their arms and ammunition as it targeted their movements in the surroundings of Tasnim village in the direction of towards Um Sharshouh–Jabourin.
Hama
In the neighboring Hama province, the Army Air Force targeted groups of terrorists and their vehicles in al-Qastal al-Wistani, Qleib al-Thour, al-Rawda, Jana al-Albawi, Adla, Oqeirbart, 70 km to the east of Hama city.
The air forces also destroyed terrorists’ hideouts and vehicles in Qleib al-Thour, al-Rouda and Adla in Hama’s eastern countryside.
Idleb
The Syrian Arab Army’s Air Force carried out air strikes on hideouts and gatherings of terrorists operating under the banner of “Al-Fateh Army” in Kafr Rouma in Idleb countryside.
A military source told SANA that the air strikes resulted in the destruction of a convoy of terrorists’ machinegun-equipped vehicles, leaving scores of terrorists dead or injured.
The Air Force also carried out an air strike against a gathering of terrorists from Jabhet al-Nusra in Saraqeb, killing a number of them, injuring others, and destroying a number of their hideouts along with the weapons and ammo inside them.
An army unit eliminated members of two terrorists groups who were attempting to infiltrate Tal A’war in Jisr al-Shughour area, destroying two vehicles they had been using, one of which was equipped with a heavy machinegun.
Deir Ezzor
Army air forces destroyed two armored vehicles and two mortar bases and killed a number of ISIS terrorists in Mohassan in Deir Ezzor.
Aleppo
Syrian Arab Army units carried out a series of concentrated strikes targeting terrorists in the surroundings of the Air Force Academy, which is located 40km east of Aleppo city on the highway to Raqqa, leaving many terrorists dead or injured and destroying their weapons and ammo.
A military source told SANA that other army units carried out precisions strikes against terrorist hideouts and concentrations in the neighborhoods of al-Ashrafiye, al-Rashin, Bani Zeid, Bustan al-Basha, Bustan al-Qasr, and Ein al-Tal in Aleppo city, killing and injuring many terrorists.
Army operations also targeted hideouts and supply lines of Jabhet al-Nusra terrorists in the town of Andan and the surroundings of Bakshoi in the province’s northern countryside, leaving many terrorists dead and destroying their vehicles, some of which were equipped with heavy machineguns.
