National Summer Athletics Championship held in Damascus

Damascus, SANA – A wide participation of 170 male and female athletes was witnessed in the National Summer Athletics Championship which concluded last Tuesday amid heated competition.

The competitions were held at Tishreen Sports city in Damascus.

Athletes from Damascus, Damascus Countryside, Quneitra, Homs, Hama and Lattakia won the first places in the various track and field events.

Winter Athletics Championship, held last March in the same venue, saw the participation of 176 athletes.
