Damascus, SANA- Two civilians were injured Sunday when an explosive device went off in al- Tijara neighborhood in Damascus.
A source at Damascus Police Command told SANA that terrorists detonated an explosive device which they had earlier planted in a car parked near Ghassan Abboud School in al-Tijara residential neighborhood, leaving two civilians injured and causing a material damage in the area.
Last Wednesday, a terrorist mortar attack hit a Basic Education school in al-Malki neighborhood in Damascus city, killing a female teacher and injuring a number of students.
About 1 million students from 7th, 8th, 10th and 11th grades are carrying out their second semester tests since Wednesday May, 20th.
