Moscow, SANA-Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov discussed Monday with his US counterpart John Kerry the crisis in Syria in light of the outcomes of the second round of the inter-Syrian consultative meeting which was held in Moscow recently.
“During a phone call, the two sides agreed to continue cooperation, taking into consideration the efforts of the other countries and the UN to prepare for suitable conditions to resume the political process regarding Syria,”
Bashar al-Jaafari, head of the Syrian government’s delegation to the second round of Moscow consultative meeting said on Friday the government’s assessment of the meeting is positive as the government’s delegation and those of the opposition sides made it through a unified paper.
