Damascus, SANA- President Bashar al-Assad received Sunday Brigadier General Azizi Nasirzadeh, Minister of Defense of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the accompanying delegation.
President Assad discussed with Zadeh issues related to defense and security in the region, and enhancing cooperation between the two countries to confront terrorism in a way that would serve the stability and security of the region as a whole.
His excellency stressed that eliminating terrorism is a regional and international responsibility since its dangers threaten peoples of the whole world.
