Syrian students abroad celebrate Syrian Student Day

Capitals, SANA- Syrian students and communities celebrated the 65th anniversary of the Syria Arab Student Day by arranging different activities.

In Canberra, a festivity was organized by the Syrian Students National Union/Australia Branch as the students gathered at the center of the city and raised the Syrian national flag and the photos of President Bashar al-Assad, chanting national songs.

The students reiterated support to the Syrian Arab Army in its war against terrorism, affirming confidence in its ability to restore security and stability to the homeland.

In India, an event was held at the Syrian Embassy in New Delhi during which the Syrian students reiterated support to the homeland in its war against terrorism.

The students affirmed that despite of the crisis, the educational process in Syria is ongoing and rapidly developing under the wise leadership of President al-Assad.

During a festivity titled “March 30…Our Limits are in Sky” held in Marseille, the Syrian students in France stressed that Syria will remain resilient and strong in the face of terrorism thanks to the unity of its army and people.

Syrian Charge d’affairs in Paris Mohammad Abu Dalla reviewed the role played by the Syrian students in thwarting all the attempts to undermine Syria’s stability and national unity.

In Algeria and Cuba, the Syrian students organized festivities during which they stressed that they stand by the homeland in the face of the global conspiracy hatched against it.

They reiterated readiness to return to Syria to contribute to building it and to defend it against the terrorist war which targets its land and people, voicing support to the Syrian leadership.

During events held on the same occasion, the Syrian students in Spain and the Czech Republic stressed that they will pursue their study to rebuild the homeland, affirming support to the Syrian leadership, people and army in the face of the global terrorist war which targets Syria’s present and future.

They strongly condemned the criminal acts perpetrated by the terrorist organizations against the Syrian people, calling for unifying the ranks in the face of the conspiracy which aims at undermining the stability and security of Syria and the whole region.

They hailed the sacrifices of the Syrian Arab army, appreciating the stances of the friendly countries which support Syria and reject the interference in its internal affairs, on top, Russia, China and Iran.

Syrian students in Russia and Romania organized two festivities during which they expressed solidarity with the homeland in face of the global conspiracies.

They expressed confidence that Syria led by President al-Assad will defeat terrorism and all the regional and international powers which support it.

Syria’s Ambassador in Moscow Riyad Haddad affirmed that in spite of all the international conspiracies and the terrorist war, Syria will remain a fortress of resistance in the region, underlying the importance of unifying the ranks of the Syrian citizens to counter terrorism and to achieve the national reconciliation.

Ambassador Hadad thanked Syria’ friends who have supported it over the past four years, on top of which, Federal Russia and its friendly people and leadership.

Meanwhile, the Syrian students in Lebanon reiterated their support to the homeland in the face of the conspiracies and the terrorist war.

During a festivity organized by the Syrian Students National Union/ Lebanon Branch on the same occasion, the students affirmed that Syria will remain adherent to its approach of resistance regardless of all the challenges and that it will thwart all the conspiracies.

In Egypt, the Syrian students held an event at the headquarters of the Syrian diplomatic mission in Cairo under the slogan “Our Limits are in Sky” through which they expressed confidence that Syria will foil all the conspiratorial schemes hatched against it.

The students reiterated their support to the Syrian Arab Army in the face of the terrorist war, asserting that Syria will foil all the conspiracies and will be stronger than ever.

In Belgium, the Syrian students stressed their stand by the homeland in the face of the international conspiracies and the terrorist attack against it.

In a press statement, on the occasion of Syrian Student Day, the students stressed adherence to the principles of the Late President Hafez al-Assad and the national and pan-Arab principles as well as the approach of resistance adopted by Syria.

They reiterated support to the Syrian Arab army in its war against terrorism, hailing the unity and independence of the Syrian national decision in the face of the conspiratorial schemes hatched against Syria.

They expressed determination to return to the homeland to effectively contribute to rebuilding it.

Earlier, Syrian students in Slovakia reiterated their solidarity with Syrian land, people, and leadership in combating terrorism which is killing Syrians and destroying their homeland to serve suspicious foreign agendas.

In a solidarity event on Monday in Bratislava organized by the Slovakia branch of the National Union of Syrian Students on the occasion of Syrian Arab Student Day, the participants affirmed that what is terrorist acts taking place in Syria, which include murdering people and destroying mosques, churches, universities, schools, research centers and properties, can’t be classified as a “ revolution.”

A crowd of Syrian students, Slovak citizens, Europeans, and a number of Arab students and members of Arab communities in Slovakia participated in the event.

The Syrian students participating in the even vowed to continue their education and return to Syria to participate in the reconstruction process.

In Budapest, Hungary, an event was organized on the same occasion with participation of Syrian students, the Forum for Syria, and members of the Syrian community in Hungary.

The event included a debate among the participants about issues of Syrian expatriates and students abroad and their future plans regarding their homeland.
