Damascus, SANA-President Bashar al-Assad participated in celebration of Prophet Mohammad’s Birth at Saad bin Muath Mosque in Damascus.
Caretaker Endowments Minister, Mohammad Abdul-Sattar Assayed, said “Today we are in front of a message whose title is the values of this religion and how we, the followers of this religion, and the noble Prophet, can welcome this great birth amid the endless killing that is taking place every day, the desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque by the Zionists, its burning, and the challenges to our feelings, our sanctities, our Islam, and our Christianity.
“In front of all that, we must follow the example of the noble Prophet, the one who is remembered, through what he did, peace and blessings be upon him, in bringing up men, as Islam reached the Alps and France within ten years after the death of the noble Messenger, which was achieved by raising men during the test and during the trial, not in the gains and positions,” the Minister added.
