Mikdad meets Lebanese counterpart on sidelines of Arab Summit’s Ministerial preparatory meeting

Manama, SANA- Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Fayysal Mikdad, met on Tuesday morning Lebanese Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Abdullah Bou Habib.

That came on the sidelines of Arab Summit’s Ministerial preparatory meeting, hosted by Bahraini capital, Manama.

Both ministers discussed the developments in occupied Palestinian territories, the catastrophic effects of Israeli aggression on Palestinians, in addition to the efforts exerted to stop the genocide there.

The two sides also discussed the topics put on the agenda of Arab Foreign Ministers’ meeting, most important of which is boosting joint Arab action in various fields.

They touched on the work of Arab Ministerial Liaison Committee on Syria, and its important role in respecting Syria’s sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity, in addition to bilateral relations and issues of common interest, stressing the importance of continuing cooperation and coordination between both countries.
