Mardini, UN Resident Coordinator discuss prospects of educational cooperation

Damascus, SANA- On Thursday, Education Minister, Mohammad Amer Mardini, discussed with the United Nations Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator for Syria, Adam Abdelmoula, prospects for joint cooperation between the two sides.

During the meeting held in the ministry building in Damascus, Mardini reviewed the efforts of Education Ministry to compensate for educational losses and encourage students to return to school in addition to rehabilitate schools.

In his turn, Abdelmoula pointed to the need to strengthen cooperation between the organization and the ministry in the field of training and rehabilitation, in addition to supporting the preparing of appropriate conditions for students coming from the locations of armed terrorist groups to submit their exams, indicating the importance of supporting the process of educating students and securing their future.
