Syrian Olympic football team beats Kuwaiti counterpart 4-1, before leaving for Bangladesh

Kuwait, SANA-Syrian Olympic football team beat its Kuwaiti counterpart 4-1 in a friendly match held in Kuwait on Monday ahead of Asia cup “AFC” qualifications for under 23, due to be held in Bangladesh at the end of March.

 The Syrian football team performed a great match and came out with 4 scores through Yousef Kalfa, Mou’en Naji and Omar Khribeen.

 The match comes within the team’s training camp in Kuwait that lasts till next Thursday, the date for going to Bangladesh that hosts the qualifications of the 5th  group that also includes India and Uzbekistan.

Syria’s team will begin matches with Bangladesh’s team on March 27th , whereas it will meet the Indian team on March 29th and finally Uzbekistan’s team on March  31st .

The first of each group will be qualified for the Asian finals along with the best five teams that win the second rank in the ten Asian groups.
