National Earthquake Center: A 3.3 magnitude quake recorded in Liwa Iskenderun

Damascus, SANA- An earthquake measuring 3.3 on the Richter scale was recorded Sunday in Liwa Iskenderun, about 65 km north of Lattakia, according to the National Earthquake Center.

The center stated in a statement, that the stations of the National Seismological Network recorded a tremor that occurred at 10:58 am in Liwa Iskenderun, north of Lattakia, with a magnitude of 3.3.

The stations of the National Seismological Monitoring Network recorded only two earthquakes on the Turkish mainland, measuring 3.2 magnitudes, from yesterday until eight o’clock on Sunday morning.
