Damascus, SANA- An earthquake measuring 3.2 on the Richter Scale hit Liwa Iskenderun area Thursday morning.
The quake occurred at 9:03 a.m. (local time) Thursday morning northwest of Idleb, at a depth of 17,9 km, National Earthquake Center said in a statement to SANA.
The center said that the number of the recorded quakes yesterday up till today morning have reached 18 ones, which are ranged from weak to moderate.
The center added that the national seismic monitoring stations network recorded two quakes, one of which is 14 km southeast of Lattakia, and the other 31 km southwest of Lattakia, in addition to 6 other quakes in Liwa Iskenderun, a quake in Cyprus, and 8 others in Turkey.
The center pointed out that the quakes ranged between 1.9 and 4.1 on Richter scale.
