Stockholm, SANA-The Solidarity Commission with Syria, Syrian and Arab expatriate activists, and citizens from Sweden organized a stand in the capital, Stockholm, in solidarity with Syria after the earthquake that struck it.
A statement was delivered in both Arabic and Swedish ,in the stand, calling for the lifting of the unilateral Western sanctions imposed on Syria after the war launched against it more than 10 years ago, by terrorists supported by the United States and Western countries.
The statement indicated that the much-needed relief work now in Syria after the devastating earthquake has become more difficult, due to these Western sanctions that prevent the delivery of aid that would mitigate the effects and repercussions of the devastating earthquake.
