Japanese State Minister offers condolences over victims of earthquake at Syrian Embassy in Tokyo

Tokyo, SANA- Minister of State for Disaster Management and Ocean Policy Tani Koichi offered condolence over victims of the devastating earthquake that hit Syria on February 6th .

Koichi, during a visit to the Syrian Embassy in Tokyo on Saturday, wrote a word on the condolence book.

Later, the Japanese Minister met the Charge d’Affaires of the Syrian Embassy in Tokyo, Mohammed Najib Elji. The two sides reviewed the repercussions of the devastated earthquake hit Syria recently and the situation in the afflicted areas, including the risks of the cracks of the residential building and infrastructures.

They also touched upon Japan’s experience in dealing with these catastrophes.

They also discussed the urgent aid provided by Japan and the assistance that will be later dedicated to Syria to face the repercussions of the earthquake.
