People’s Assembly commemorates 41st anniversary of the General strike in occupied Syrian Golan

Damascus, SANA- The People’s Assembly on Tuesday commemorated the 41st anniversary of the general strike of the occupied Syrian Golan that was staged in protest of the Israeli occupation’s null annexation decision.

Speaker Hamouda Sabbagh affirmed Syria’s firm stance to support the citizens of the occupied Syrian Golan, those resisting the Zionist arbitrary exercises and their transgressions against the locals since the void annexation decision until today.

Sabbagh indicated that the citizens of the Golan are the only owners of the land and identity, and this is a fact that no one can deny.

He hailed heroism and sacrifices offered by the Syrian people in Golan.
