Syrian poet Dana Abu Mahmoud reaches semi-final of Prince of Poets competition in UAE

Damascus, SANA- Dana Abu Mahmoud chose poetry as her voice to prove her talent in local and Arab competitions, and to confirm that an individual is able to overcome all obstacles and difficulties that may come his /her way.

Syrian poet Dana participated in Arab poetic platforms in the “Prince of Poets” competition in its 10th season held in the United Arab Emirates.

She reached the semi-finals, after going through several stages, the first of which was sending the poetic text and its necessary attachments, as 1,300 poets from different Arab countries participated this stage, so that 150 of them were chosen to move on to the first round of interviews with the committee, in which she obtained the text’s approval unanimously.
