United Nation, SANA- China reiterated its position in support of establishment of an independent and fully sovereign Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders with Jerusalem as its capital, noting that it will continue to work with the international community to make positive contributions to the Palestinian cause ,and achieve peace and security in the Middle East.
China’s permanent representative to the United Nations, Zhang Jun, said his country calls for calm, restraint and avoiding further escalation over the Palestinian cause, the Xinhua news agency reported.
He added that “Israel” has to stop all its incitement and provocation actions and refrain from taking any action that would lead to a deterioration of the situation.
