Damascus, SANA- Assistant Foreign and Expatriates Minister Ayman Sousan, offered on Tuesday condolences on the death of His Holiness, former Pope Benedict XVI, at the Vatican Embassy in Damascus.
On behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Sousan offered condolences for the passing of Pope Benedict XVI, praising the virtues of the deceased in upholding spiritual, moral and human values.
On December 31, 2022, the Vatican announced the death of the former Pope Benedict XVI, at the age of 95.
