Budapest, SANA- Syrian Ambassador in Budapest Bashar Samara discussed Wednesday with Dean of Pázmány Péter Catholic University, Dr. Nándor Birher prospects of boosting academic cooperation between the two sides.
The two sides reviewed, during a meeting, aspects of coordination and possible cooperation between the Syrian diplomatic mission and Péter Catholic University in cultural and scientific fields, particularly to facilitate the implementation of Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme which is extended by the Hungarian Government every year.
The meeting also reviewed issues of students pursuing their educational attainment in Hungary.
Ambassador Samara affirmed readiness to provide all possible assistance to the students in order to fulfill their aspirations and accomplish academic success.
