The 2nd International Conference on Building Engineering starts activities

Damascus, SANA- With the participation of a number of Arab and international researchers, the 2^nd International Conference on Building Engineering started activities on Monday at Damascus University Auditorium under the title (Towards More Sustainable Facilities).

The conference is organized by the Higher Institute for Seismic Research and Studies at Damascus University, and it will last for three days.

The conference will include dialogue sessions that will discuss the importance of reinforced concrete structures in terms of design and rehabilitation, seismology and design of facilities to resist earthquakes, engineering management and implementation technology, environmental, health and geotechnical engineering, techniques for using building materials and the management of disasters and mitigating their damage.
