Moscow, SANA- Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa, Mikhail Bogdanov, discussed with Syria’s Ambassador to Russia, Bashar al-Jaafari, the latest developments in Syria.
The Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement that views were exchanged during the meeting on developments in and around Syria, and the results of the 19th international meeting on Syria in the Astana format, which was held two days ago in the Kazakh capital.
The ministry added that the issues related to boosting Russian-Syrian multifaceted cooperation were discussed, including the tasks of strengthening the social and economic structure of Syria.
