Bronze medal for Syria in World Robotics Olympiad in Germany

Dortmund, SANA- Syria won a bronze medal in the World Robot Olympiad, being held in the German city of “Dortmund” from Nov 16th to 20th.

“The Syrian team gained a bronze medal through Robot Mission Competition for Senior High group,” Distinction and Creativity Agency told SANA in a statement on Sunday.

The team included Waleed Shibani, Sami Marouf, Kareem Madhi and the trainer Abdelrahman Horani.

2,275 male and female contestants distributed over 365 teams representing 73 countries have participated in the World Robotics Olympiad, themed “My Robot My Friend.”
