Mikdad meets Vice President of India, talks deal with latest developments

New Delhi,SANA-Indian Vice President Jagdeep Dankhar discussed with Foreign and expatriate Minister, Faysal Mikdad, the latest developments in the region and the historical relations between Syria and India.

During the meeting, Dankhar asked Mr. Mikdad to convey greetings of his country and the Indian leadership to President Bashar al-Assad, stressing their adherence to the historical relations that connect the two countries.

Dankhar stressed that India has maintained its stance in support of Syria in the most difficult times.

He referred to the progress of the Indian economic experience, showing readiness to cooperate with Syria in the technical domains.

In turn , Mikdad stressed the importance of communication and mutual coordination of stances that concern the two countries, noting the importance and increasing Indian presence in regional and international forums.

He also expressed Syria’s welcome to India’s role in rebuilding what was destroyed by terrorism in the country.
