Syria- Omani discussions on the transport and communications cooperation

Muscat, SANA – The Omani Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology Saeed bin Hamoud Al-Maawali discussed with the Syrian Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman Dr. Idris Maya prospects for strengthening bilateral cooperation, especially in transport and communications fields.

al-Maawali affirmed, during the meeting, his country’s readiness to sign a cooperation agreement between the two brotherly countries in communications and information technology and the exchange of experiences in this field.

Maya stated the difficulties Syria exercised in the technological and communication sectors due to the coercive measures imposed on the Syrian people, pointed out the importance of strengthening cooperation relations between the two countries in these two sectors.
