Provinces, (SANA) Army units tightened grip on terrorists Tuesday, carrying out military operations against their dens and gatherings in several areas around the country.
Army units destroyed terrorists’ ammunition caches in al-Halak and al-Sheikh Lutfi in Aleppo, killing many of them, a military source said.
He added that army units also targeted terrorists’ gatherings in Khan Touman, Erbid, Qadi Askar, al-Mansoura, Ard al-Mallah the industrial city, Daret Ezza, Shweihneh, Bustan al-Basha and Abtin in Aleppo and its countryside, killing many of the terrorists and injuring others.
An army unit repelled terrorists’ attempt to attack a military checkpoint in Ein al-Basha village in Qunetira countryside, killing and injuring many of them, in addition to seizing their weapons.
SANA reporter said that the army units advanced in Jisereen town in Damascus Countryside after cutting the main supply line of terrorists with al-Mleiha, killing scores of terrorists.
A field commander said that the army units, during the operation, killed a large number of terrorists, most of them were non-Syrians.
Other army units targeted terrorists’ dens in the Eastern Ghouta, killing and injuring many of them.
Among the dead terrorists were Samer al-Emam, Adnan al-Sheikh and Khalid al-Zahri.
The army units also stormed terrorists’ gatherings in Douma, eliminating scores of them, in addition to destroying their weapons.
Mahmoud Abdulbaki, Muhedeen Satot and Maher Eyoun were identified among the dead terrorists.
Another army unit killed and injured a number of terrorists in Khan al-Sheeh farms, destroying their vehicles.
The army units also clashed with terrorists in Daraya city, inflicting heavy losses upon them, while another army unit killed many terrorists in the area surrounding al-Rhaybeh town in the northeastern countryside of Damascus.
The source added that army units destroyed terrorists’ vehicles in Hreitan, Andan, al-Marjeh, Mare’, al-Naanai, the free zone, Handarat, Tal Msebin, Blas, al-Hader and Hanano, killing many of the terrorists.
An army unit destroyed a terrorists’ den, killing all the terrorists inside in Saraqeb town in Idleb province, a military source told SANA reporter.
The source added that 11 Takfiris from the terrorist grouping of Jabhat al-Nusra were killed and many other were injured, in addition to destroying two machine-gun equipped vehicles.
A military source told SANA that army units killed and injured a number of terrorists at the Municipal Stadium and near the electricity roundabout in al-Rastan city in Homs countryside.
The army units also eliminated all members of armed terrorist groups in Jabbourin in Talbiseh and destroyed two trucks loaded with weapons.
The source added that army units targeted an armed terrorist group near al-Sulataniyeh-Salam Gharbi villages, killing and injuring a number of its members.
The army units also eliminated all members of another armed terrorist group near Rahoum village, tried to infiltrate into Maksar al-Hisan village in the Eastern countryside of Homs.
Army units also killed and injured a number of terrorists in the villages of Khirbet Jarad and Khirbet Sahrij to the south west of al-Qseir and destroyed their criminal tools.
Army units targeted Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists’ gatherings in several areas in the northern countryside of Lattakia including al-Daghmashiyeh, al-Zweik and Saqieh
al-Kart.
Bodies of foreign terrorists were found among the killed terrorists including the terrorists Abu Abdullah al-Banyasi, a terrorist group leader, Osama Mazouz and Abu Omar al-Tatwani from Morocco, Bahaa Keirouzi from Tunisia and Siwar Othman from Sudan.
The source added that army units destroyed three mortar launchers, a vehicle equipped with a heavy machinegun and a car loaded with four missiles, killing all the terrorists inside.
A military source told SANA that an army unit foiled an armed terrorist group’s infiltration attempt to a building in the area surrounding Inkhel town in Daraa countryside, killing and injuring all its members.
A military source told SANA that army units targeted armed terrorist groups in Saida town in the eastern countryside of Daraa, al-Miskiyeh village.
In Homs province, an explosive device planted by an armed terrorist group exploded on the railway between al-Rmileh and al-Qariatin towns causing material damage to a car with no human injuries.
