Moscow, SANA- Russian tennis star Daria Kasatkina has qualified for the 2022 WTA (Women Tennis Association) Finals tournament, which will be hosted by the United States in Fort Worth, Texas.
The 25-year-old Russian earned her way to play in the prestigious season-end WTA tournament after Viktoria Azarenka of Belarus defeated Madison Keys of the United States in Round 3 of the 2022 WTA Guadalajara Open tournament in Mexico.
The list of qualified players for the 2022 WTA Finals already includes Belarusian tennis champ Arina Sobolenko, who plays at the WTA tournaments under neutral status just like the rest of the players who are either from Belarus or Russia.
The WTA Finals is the annual tournament played at the end of each season since 1972.
