Tartous, Homs, SANA- Last night’s brutal Israeli aggression caused severe damage and destruction to al-Dabbousiya, Qamar and al-Jubaniyya bridges in the western Homs countryside and Aridah in Tartous on the Syrian-Lebanese border, putting them out of service.
“The Israeli aggression caused the destruction of al-Dabousiya bridges (the concrete and metal ones) , the Qamar Bridge crossing, and the Jubaniyah, which are vital bridges linking Homs province and the Lebanese borders, and that led to cutting off the movement of citizens and cars across these bridges.” Director of the General Establishment for Road Transport in Homs, Eng. Nabil Aqoul, said in a statement to SANA.
In a similar statement in Tartous, Director of the General Establishment for Road Transport, Engineer Hussein Nasser, said that the damage to al-Aridah Bridge was very severe and significant.
Where the Israeli enemy launched an air aggression from the direction of Lebanese territory at 05:00 after midnight, targeting the border crossings between Syria and Lebanon in the western countryside of Homs and Tartous.
The aggression led to the martyrdom of six people, including two soldiers and the rest were civilians, and the injury of twelve others, among them children, women and workers in the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, and the occurrence of significant material damage.
