Beirut, SANA- The Syrian martial arts team obtained five different medals, two gold, two silver, and a bronz one in the 11th Arab championship of Kyokushinkai, which concluded its competitions on Monday in the Lebanese capital, Beirut.
250 players from Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Tunisia, Kuwait, Palestine and Egypt participated in the championship.
In Kata competitions, the player Dima al-Nouri gained the gold medal for the women’s category and the player Yamen Zarzour won gold medal in the junior category.
In solo combat competitions, the player Dima al Nourai gained the silver medal in women’s category under 55 Kg, and Firas Zarzour won the silver in the men’s category under 60 kg , while Muhammad Arafat won the bronze medal in junior category in the under 65 kg category.
