Damascus, SANA- On the occasion of the Russian Flag Day, this evening, the Russian flag was painted with lights on the building of Dar Al-Assad for Culture and Arts in Damascus.
SANA reporter from the Umayyad Square in Damascus stated that “within the framework of the Russian people’s participation in the celebrations of the Russian Flag Day, this evening the Russian flag was painted with lights on the building of Dar Al-Assad for Culture and Arts.
The current Russian flag was approved 30 years ago on November 1, 1991, and on August 20, 1994 the Russian flag was established by order of the Russian President.
The white color in the Russian flag symbolizes nobility and honesty, the blue color symbolizes loyalty and chastity, and the red one symbolizes courage.
