Russian ruble continues to rise against dollar and euro

Moscow, SANA-The Russian ruble rose in today’s trading against the US dollar and the euro.

The data of the Moscow Stock Exchange, according to the Russia Today website, showed a decline in the dollar exchange rate by 1.03 to 58.43 rubles, and the euro exchange rate by 1.7 to 61.91 rubles.

The rise in the Russian currency comes on the eve of a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Russia scheduled for tomorrow, which will discuss the monetary policy of Russia, amid expectations that the Central Bank will decide to reduce the main interest rate.
