Bogdanov, Haddad discus latest developments in Syria and the region

Moscow, SANA- Mikhail Bogdanov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa discussed with Riad Haddad, Syria’s Ambassador to Russia the latest developments in Syria and the region and means of enhancing cooperation between the two countries in all domains to serve reconstruction process.

The Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement that Bogdanov received Haddad and voiced gratitude for Syria’s stance in support of Russia’s actions in defense of the civilian people in Donbas.

Haddad told SANA reporter in Moscow that he conveyed to the Russian side that the Syrian leadership, people, army and media, support the steps of Russia and its President Vladimir Putin in the defense of the legitimate stances and people’s rights.
Haddad condemned the unjust sanctions of the west against the friendly Russian people.
