Al- Baath Officials in Aleppo: Need to improve services and fight corruption highlighted

Aleppo, SANA – Assistant Regional Secretary of al-Baath Arab Socialist Party Hilal al-Hilal stressed the need to improve services level and fight corruption.

During the meeting of Aleppo university’s al-Baath Branch on Tuesday, al-Hilal hailed the steadfastness of the people of Aleppo in confronting the takfiri mentality which aims at undermining the national unity and destroying the capabilities of the state.

Al-Hilal added that Syria has decided, since the beginning of the crisis, to adopt dialogue on national bases that respect the Syrian sovereignty and unity, expressing gratitude to the sacrifices of the Syrian army in defense of the country.

In turn, Member of the Regional Leadership of al-Baath Party, Minister of Electricity Imad Khamis said that the government is sparing no effort to provide citizens with electricity, adding that the sector is facing great challenges because the terrorists are systematically targeting its institutions, including power generating stations and power transfering cables.

For his part, Aleppo’s Governor Mohammad Marwan al-Olabi stressed that the governorate is exerting all efforts to provide petroleum and distribute it to citizens and institution, according to the priority and importance, such as hospitals and bakeries.
