Damascus, SANA- Minister of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform, Mohammad Hassan Qatana , discussed on Thursday with Brazilian Ambassador in Damascus, Fabio Vaz Pitaluga ,ways to activate the agricultural agreements signed between the two countries and develop cooperation in the fields of agricultural research.
Minister Qatana briefed the Ambassador on the needs of agricultural sector in Syria, pointing out the need for the Syrian community in Brazil to take its role in increasing cooperation between the two countries and conveying successful initiatives and projects, particularly in the agricultural domain, stressing readiness to provide everything necessary in this field
For his part, the Brazilian Ambassador expressed his country’s willingness to develop its relations with Syria, reviewing the situation of the agricultural sector in Brazil and its most prominent products.
