Dubai, SANA- Syrian food companies have joined Gulfood 2022, the world’s largest annual food and beverage trade exhibition, which will continue activities till February 17th at the Dubai World Trade Center.
According to data published on its official website, Gulfood brings together representatives from more than 185 countries, 4,000 exhibiting companies, 200 official speakers and 21 halls.
The Syrian pavilion, which was opened yesterday, includes 25 Syrian companies in the field of food industries, according to the Director General of the Local Production and Exports Support Authority, Thaer Fayyad.
Fayyad added that the Syrian pavilion is distinguished this year in terms of design, participation and quality of products that are presented according to the latest international standards, indicating that there are 20 other Syrian companies distributed between the private pavilions.
The opening of the Syrian pavilion was attended by Mumtaz Zahr Al-Din, the Syrian Consul General in the United Arab Emirates, Ghazwan al-Masri, Chairman of the Syrian-Emirati Business Council, Talal Qala Ji, Chairman of the Exhibitions Committee of the Federation of Chambers of Industry, and a delegation of businessmenز
