Foreign Ministry: Syria will not allow the EU or any other to intervene in the country’s domestic affairs

Damascus, SANA- Syria has disapproved stances and lies included in the recent statement of the European Council, which express a state of disconnection from reality, affirming that it won’t allow the EU or any other to intervene in Syria’s domestic affairs.

“The institution of the European Union lacks the minimum degree of independence and was satisfied to be subordinate to the US policies,” an official source at Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.

The source added that what has been included in the EU statement that claimed “Conflict in Syria has not stooped and it is still a source of suffering and destabilization” has been mainly resulted by western interventions in the Syrian affair and the unilateral, economic measures imposed on the country.
