Provinces, SANA – Operations of the army units against terrorist organizations, including the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), were stepped up on Tuesday, being carried out on a large scale and resulting in a large number of deaths within the terrorists’ ranks.
Damascus countryside
Units of Army and Armed Forces smashed takfiri terrorist organizations’ dens, killing and injuring many of their members in the west southern side of Damascus Countryside.
A military source told SANA that Units of Army and Armed Forces carried out special operations against dens of terrorist organizations in al-Khazrajia town near to Sa’sa town.
The source also affirmed that tens of terrorists were killed, others were injured and their dens and vehicles were destroyed in al-Qalamon mountains area.
It added that many of terrorists were killed, others injured and their vehicles, equipped with heavy machine guns were destroyed in Rasm al-Saman, al-Habaria , Kanakir and Khan al-Sheih towns.
Homs
A military source told SANA that the Army killed scores of ISIS terrorists while hunting their remnants to the north of al-Shaer oil wells in Homs eastern countryside.
The source added that an army unit also killed many terrorists of the ISIS and destroyed their munitions during special operations between Ink al-Hawa and Rahoum villages, in the south-west of Raqqa.
It affirmed that the army sent heavy strikes against terrorists in Talbeisa area to the north, killing several terrorists.
Meanwhile, the Army eliminated scores of terrorists in the villages of al-Teiba, Tal Dhab and Kfar Laha in al-Houla region.
The source also confirmed the killing of tens of terrorists during an army special operation against their dens in al-Rastan where terrorists of so-called “Liwa al-Farouk and Homs Brigade” are existing.
Hasaka
SANA reporter in Hasaka said a unit of the Army and Armed Forces eliminated tens of Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorists in al-Khansaa village, south of Tal Hamis, in the countryside of the northeastern province.
Idleb
A military source said that the army killed large numbers of terrorists in a series of operations in a number of areas near Jisr al-Shughour.
A number of hideouts were destroyed and dozens of terrorists who were in them were killed.
The army also killed terrorists in Jabal al-Zawya and Abu al-Dohour, where the source said a number of terrorists were eliminated in villages surrounding Abu al-Dohour Airport.
Deir Ezzor
An army unit eliminated tens of Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) members in al-Mrei’iyeh in the countryside of the eastern province of Deir Ezzor.
Hama
In central Syria, units of the Army and Armed Forces killed tens of terrorists and destroyed their vehicles in al-Qastal al-Wistani, al-Qastal al-Janoubi, Abu Jbeilat, al-Latamina and al-Zakat in the countryside of Hama.
Daraa
Army units in the southern province of Daraa targeted takfiri terrorist organizations, killing many of their members in al-Bajabija in Daraa al-Balad city and in al-Harak town and Tal Mseih, northeast of Deir al-Adass, in the countryside.
