Russia, India committed to Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity

New Delhi, SANA-Russia and India reaffirmed Monday their commitment to Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

“ The two states affirm their commitment to Syria’s terrestrial integrity as there is no substitution to the political process, led and implemented by the Syrians with assistance of the UN according to resolution 2254,” a joint statement following a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi in New Delhi said.

The statement called for securing humanitarian comprehensive assistance to the Syrians without any politicization or preconditions.
