Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will notably drop in the western region, yet they will stay from 2 to 4 degrees above average in the northern, eastern and al-Jazeera region/s as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general with a weak shower chance over the coastal region, according to the bulletin of the Meteorology Department.
At night, the weather will be relatively cold over the mountains, while the winds will be westerly to southwesterly with a moderate speed and active gusts sometimes whose speed exceeds 50 km\h, and the sea waves will be low to medium in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 29/15, Daraa 28/15, Homs 27/17, Lattakia 36/21, Aleppo 31/19 and Deir Ezzor 34/21.
