Capitals, SANA- The novel coronavirus pandemic has claimed the lives of more than 3,936,000 persons around the world since its outbreak in December 2019, according to the last statistics by the American Worldometers Website.
The website, which tracks the last developments of coronavirus pandemic, added that the total number of infections worldwide has reached up to 181,760,894 cases up till now, while the deaths have amounted to 3,936,740 and the recoveries have reached up to 166,270,486.
The US still tops the worst- affected countries in terms of the number of infections and deaths as it has recorded 619,433 deaths out of 34,493,958 infections.
India comes second with 396,753 deaths out of 30,278,912 infections, and Brazil comes in the third place with 512,819 deaths out of 18,389,894 infections.
