Damascus, SANA- Various amounts of rainfalls were registered in several Syrian provinces over the past 24 hours, the heaviest of which was in the coastal province of Lattakia 89 mm.
While in other provinces, rainfalls were as follows: 23mm in Hama and 2.5 mm in Tartous.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Tuesday bulletin the temperature will remain slightly above average as the country is affected by a weak and superficial high pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The weather will be clear and partially cloudy in general while local rain showers are expected over the northwestern areas.
Fog is also expected in the early hours of morning in the inland areas and the mountains, and the wind will be southeastern with a weak speed and the height of waves will be from low to medium.
