Moscow, SANA-Syrian students and Members of the Syrian community in Russia commemorated the anniversary of the Martyrs’ Day during a meeting held at the Syrian chancery in Moscow.
Syrian Ambassador to Russia, Riyad Haddad, on this occasion, which was attended by Syrians from the Expatriate League and the National Union for Syrian Students in Russia, affirmed in a speech that the role of the expatriate is no less important than the role of the other citizens who face international terrorism.
He stressed that the Syrians face the most ugliest forms of terrorism and the dirtiest wars, adding that the Syrians are not only defending their homeland and its sovereignty, but they also defend the future of the region .
As for the presidential elections entitlement, the Ambassador said that it is the duty of every citizen to exercise his/ her constitutional right and participate in the elections to thwart the plots targeting Syria.
