Provinces, SANA – The Army and Armed Forces continued carrying out operations targeting terrorist organizations across Syria, killing scores of terrorists and destroying their hideouts and equipment.
Deir Ezzor
Army units eliminated tens of ISIS members and destroyed a humvee and a bulldozer the terrorists had been using in al-Jafra village in Deir Ezzor province.
Other army units destroyed terrorist hideouts, mortar launcher, and a number of vehicles, one of them equipped with an anti-aircraft gun, and an armored vehicle, all belonging to ISIS, eliminating a number of terrorists including foreigners in the areas of Huwaijet al-Sakr, al-Maryaiye, al-Jbaileh, al-Rushdiye, al-Huwaiqa, al-Rasafeh, and al-Sina’a in Deir Ezzor city and its countryside.
Among the dead terrorists were a Tunisian nicknamed Abu al-Majid, Omar al-Heto, Mohammad Hardan al-Bahr, Rami Khalaf al-Hayeth, Abdullah Samer al-Arib, and Urwa Farhan al-Abdullah.
Quneitra
Army units killed a number of terrorists including some of their leaders in Mashara town in Quneitra countryside.
An army unit targeted several gatherings of terrorists from the “Dawn of Islam Brigade” and “Al-Furqan Brigades” terrorist groups in the town of Braiqa, eliminating 20 terrorists and destroying two vehicles equipped with machineguns.
Another unit destroyed terrorist hideouts in the villages of Mumtanna, al-Zbaida al-Sharqiya, Rasm al-Khawaled, Oum Batina, and al-Taiha.
Homs
Army units eliminated terrorists in al-Waer neighborhood in Homs city and the areas Rahoum, al-Mushirfe, Rasm al-Tawil, al-Mazbal, Ounq al-Hawa, Rajm al-Qasir, Abu Hawadied, Habra, and near Abu al-Salasel in Homs countryside, while another unit killed terrorists who tried to attack military posts near al-Salehyeh and al-Haraki in Homs’ eastern countryside.
An army unit destroyed terrorist hideouts in Rajm al-Qaser, Rajm al-Aali, Habra al-Gharbiye, and al-Mshairfeh al-Janoubiye, leaving several terrorists dead or injured.
Another unit eliminated most members of a terrorist group that attempted to sneak from the direction of the road between Deir Ezzor and al-Sekhneh towards a military post in Homs countryside, in addition to destroying a vehicle along with the terrorists inside it on the road between al-Ghajar and Kisin.
Daraa
An army unit destroyed terrorist hideouts in Aqraba, Nawa, and al-Mal in Daraa countryside, eliminating several terrorists, in addition to destroying a vehicle along with the terrorists inside it west of Daraa al-Balad.
Another army unit destroyed a convoy of terrorists’ vehicles along with the terrorists inside them on the road between Ebta’a and al-Sheikh Meskin 22 kilometers north of the center of Daraa province, while yet another unit targeted terrorist concentrations in Da’el, killing and injuring scores of terrorists and destroying a weapons cache.
Damascus Countryside
An army unit destroyed a terrorist hideout in Kafr Nasej in Damascus Countryside, leaving several terrorists dead or injured.
