Health Ministry: 56 new coronavirus cases recorded, 81 patients recover, 5 pass away

Damascus, SANA- The Health Ministry has announced that 56 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Syria, adding that 81 coronavirus patients recovered and 5 others passed away.

In a statement, the Ministry noted that the total number of the recorded coronavirus cases in Syria has climbed to 15,981, of which 10,374 have recovered and 1,063 have passed away.

The first coronavirus case was registered in Syria on March 22^nd last year in a person who came from abroad while the first fatality was recorded on the 29^th of the same month.
