Sweida, SANA-With the participation of more than 100 national industrial companies that include food, textile and chemical industrial sectors, activities of the monthly shopping festival “Made in Syria” kicked off on Monday at al-Basel Hall in al-Mazra’a Sports City in Sweida.
The festival, which lasts until February 16th, is organized by Damascus Chamber of Industry in cooperation with Sweida Chamber of Industry and Trade.
Director of the festival , Muhammad Al-Omar, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the festival aims to provide a variety of goods and products and to introduce an integrated consumer basket for the family in one place at reduced prices through discounts and offers presented by the participant companies, which reach between 15 and 35 percent of sales and giving valuable prizes to visitors.
Governor of Sweida, Hammam Sadiq Debiat, touring the festival pavilions, pointed out that the festival encourages competition between companies from all governorates to provide the best local products in terms of quality and price.
