Damascus, SANA-Rector of Damascus University, Mohamed Yasar Abdeen, discussed with Director of the Russian Cultural Center in Damascus, Nikolai Sokhov, means of developing scientific and cultural cooperation with Russian universities, scientific and academic institutions.
The two sides discussed mechanisms for activating the agreements signed between Damascus University and a number of Russian universities and the possibility of signing new agreements according to priorities set by the two sides in addition to the possibility of joint cooperation in the field of scientific research and the organization of lectures, seminars and scientific conferences.
