Moderate weather prevails over weekend

Damascus, SANA-Temperatures will remain slightly above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by westerly air currents in upper layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the weather will be gradually stable, local rain showers are expected over al-Jazeera area,  it will be cold  at night , warning against fog over the mountains, the inland, al-Qalamoun and Ghouta areas.

The wind will be westerly to northwesterly of low to moderate speed, the sea waves will be low in amplitude.

Expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows:

Damascus 18/7, Daraa 16/7, Homs 15/6, Hasaka 12/2, Tartous 22/13 Aleppo 14/6 Idleb 13/7, Deir Ezzor 19/4.
