Damascus, SANA- A group of photos taken by Russian reporter Mikhail Alaedding, the head of the Russian Novosti News Agency office in Damascus, documented the victories of the Syrian Arab Army.
The reporter, in the exhibition organized by the Russian Cultural Center in Damascus, displayed a group of photos he took for people’s life while covering the war on terrorism in Syria.
The exhibition includes photographs cover various themes such as the victories of the Syrian Arab Army against terrorist organizations, the destruction and devastation caused by terrorism to some ancient monuments, mosques and churches and other different aspects from the Syrian human and social life.
Director of the Russian Cultural Center in Damascus, Nikolay Sukhov, indicated in a statement to SANA that the exhibition sheds light on the victories of the Syrian Arab Army in Aleppo, Palmyra, Yarmouk, Qalamoun and documents the important stage through whish Syria passed over the past years in addition to Syria’s role in resisting terrorism.
Director of Damascus Culture Directorate, Wasim Mobaid expressed the importance of cultural exchange between Syria and Russia, especially in the field of countering terrorism and confronting it.
The exhibition was opened at Abu Rumaneh Cultural Center.
