Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will continue to drop to become around average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure coming from the south and accompanied by southwestern wet air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Tuesday morning that the skies will be partly cloudy in general and there will be an opportunity for thundershowers in different areas across the country and they will be heavy in the coastal region, while the weather will be relatively cold at night, warning against fog over the mountains and the inland regions.
The wind will be southwesterly with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
Different amounts of rainfalls have been registered in different Syrian provinces over the past 24 hours as follows: Lattakia 120mm, Homs 31mm, Hama 4 mm, Tartous 40 mm and Aleppo 20mm.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 23/13, Daraa 23/13, Homs 22/14, Lattakia 24/18, Aleppo 19/13 and Deir Ezzor 25/14.
